There are two songs about whose world it is and I liked them both:

I've heard on the radio about this fact. He turned 68 this year.
I'm not a big Rolling Stones' fan,
but I respect Mick very much and wish him all the best.

"Too cool for school"...
This phrase from gaedhal's comments to my previous post nearly drove me crazy.
I've heard it in some song that seemed I couldn't recall.

I've been chatting with great rznbloodrose on gtalk and we stumbled upon this miraculous girl on youtube.
I've never seen anything like this. I wish I've seen her live performance.
And she's just turned 14!
This is not her best song to my taste, but I like the lyrics of this one very much.
I'm amazed with what she does... That's the closest thing to genius that I've seen.

1. Reply to this post and I'll assign you a letter.
2. List (and upload) 5 songs you love that begin with that letter.
3. Post them to your journal with these instructions.

ashmedai gave me the letter "S". Such a great letter!

It was really hard to stop.
My list came up mostly with well known ballads of my youth and some beloved classics. I didn't go into other genders on purpose.
I feel nostalgic now, I guess.

1)  "Saudade" - Cesária Évora
2)  "Sound Of Silence" - Simon & Garfunkel (live sound)
3)  "Stabat Mater (Dolorosa)" - Pergolesi
4)  "Shape of my Heart" - Sting
5)  "Smooth Operator" - Sade
6)  "Solitude Standing" - Suzan Vega
7)  "Sweet Dreams" - Eurythmics
8)  "Story Of The Impossible" - Peter Von Poehl
9)  "Strong Enough" - Sheryl Crow
10) "Summertime" - Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong
11) "Soldier of Fortune" - Deep Purple
12) "Show Must Go On" - Queen - Moulin Rouge
13) "Success Has Made a Failure of Our Home" - Sinead O'Connor
14) "Sweet Lullaby" - Deep Forrest
15) "Stay On These Roads" - A-ha

From all the music I would never have found (or even think of listening) if there were no "Queer As Folk", Matthew Band's is the most valuable one for me.
In fact, I think I like it so much because to me it sounds like Brian Kinney. Matthew's voice has the same drive and tender vulnerability as this character (not Brian's voice).
And the track that is used in QAF Episode 309 is Weapon.
